Is there a dress code?
Yes, we kindly request cocktail attire. Ladies may wear jumpsuits or cocktail dresses (mini, knee-length, midi, or maxi), and men should wear a suit and tie or a blazer with dress pants. Please avoid denim, short-sleeve shirts, and athletic wear.
Where can guests park?
Complimentary parking is available at St. Peter’s Catholic Church for the ceremony. For the reception, both complimentary valet and self-parking are available.
Please visit the "Travel" tab for more details on parking at the reception.
Are children welcome at the wedding?
While we love your little ones, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can still join us.
Can I bring a guest?
Due to venue limitations, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
When should I RSVP?
Please RSVP as soon as possible or by August 1 to allow us time to finalize details with the venue. You will be asked to select your entrée when submitting your RSVP. If you have any dietary restrictions, please include them at that time so we can arrange an alternative.
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. Please plan to arrive by 12:40 p.m. and be seated by 12:45 p.m.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture all of the special moments for us.
What will the ceremony be like?
The ceremony will be like a Catholic Mass. Jimmy and Sarah have selected the music, readings, and presider, and Jimmy’s cousin, Oliver Hutchison, will lead the music. Programs will be provided so guests can follow along with the songs and prayers. The ceremony will last approximately 60 minutes. If you are not a baptized Catholic who has received First Communion, we kindly ask that you remain seated during Communion.
What is there to do between the wedding and the reception?
While the wedding party is taking pictures, guests are free to spend the afternoon however they'd like before the reception begins at 6 p.m. Check out our “What to Do in the Lou” tab for some of Jimmy and Sarah’s favorite spots. Whether you want to stay in Kirkwood or head downtown, there are plenty of places to grab a drink, explore, or just relax before the party starts.
Is there a hotel block?
Yes! Our reception venue is also a hotel. Visit the travel tab for more details.
Is there an after party?
Duh! If you know any Dreyers or Hutchisons, you know the party doesn’t end after the reception. Join us on the rooftop of the venue/hotel at Rooftop 360 Bar for drinks and more fun. We'd love to celebrate with you a little longer!
